Build with consequences.
More armour means more mass. Bigger motors demand more energy. There is no perfect machine. There is your team.
A NEW BREED OF COMPETITION
Three machines. One team. Every advantage engineered. Welcome to a new virtual sport where the smartest build meets the better strategy.
FOUNDING EDITION / IN DEVELOPMENT
01 / THE SPORT
Torqestra turns engineering into competition. Build three robots within a shared allowance, assign their roles, and fight for control of the arena.
More armour means more mass. Bigger motors demand more energy. There is no perfect machine. There is your team.
Hold uncontested zones for points. Disable opponents to open space. A lightweight runner can decide the match.
The experimental match lab resolves movement, power, heat and damage, with downloadable event logs.
02 / KNOW THE GROUND
Explore the proposed 30 × 20 metre arena. Select a zone to inspect it.
03 / THE GARAGE
Configure all three machines. Watch mass, power and construction credits change with every component.
04 / THE LEAGUE TAKES SHAPE
The founding format proposes eight teams, a double round robin and a four-team playoff.
No teams have been announced. Fixtures and standings will follow once the match engine and balance testing are ready.
Founding rules, components and an interactive build explorer.
The match lab is available: three rounds, playback controls and downloadable event logs.
Balance testing, founding teams and competitive fixtures.
05 / THE RULEBOOK
Each match has three 180-second rounds. Add all round scores: the higher total wins. Holding a zone uncontested earns one point per full second; disabling an opponent earns 20 points. Eliminating all opponents ends that round without a remaining-time bonus. Regular-season ties are draws.
Each machine may weigh up to 120 kg and cost up to 110 construction credits. The three-machine team has a shared cap of 300 kg and 270 credits. Every robot requires a chassis, drive, battery, cooling, weapon and four armour panels. One utility module is optional.
Robots start each round fully restored. Teams can change tactics between rounds, but the active robots and components remain locked for the match. There are no respawns during a round.
Torqestra begins as a virtual management sport. Mass, energy and speed support consistent game rules; armour, integrity and damage use fictional game units. The concept art is illustrative and is not a manufacturing design.
You can explore the arena and configure a legal team here. You can now watch an experimental match using your saved garage team. The match lab is a prototype, not a ranked competition. Team registration is not open.
